On June 11, a welcoming party for Miranda Kerr was held at the Sogongdong Lotte Hotel in Seoul. Son Dam Bi attended the party with her best friend and model Lee Hyun Yi. It is known that Miranda Kerr invited Son Dam Bi since Miranda will be appearing on Son Dam Bi’s show, “Son Dam Bi’s Beautiful Days.”

Both the same age, Son Dam Bi and Miranda Kerr were seen close together, putting their arms around each other and giving each other high-fives.

Son Dam Bi tweeted on June 12, “Miranda Kerr~~ She’s so charming. With Hyun Yi as well. MBC Music ‘Son Dam Bi’s Beautiful Days’ coming soon,” along with a photo.

Singer Eric Nam was also able to meet Miranda Kerr and snap a photo with her!

Led Apple Releases Sexy First Teaser for “Bad Boys” Feat. Kang Ye Bin

Rock band Led Apple has released the first teaser for their upcoming mini album,“Bad Boys.”

Led Apple will be showcasing a cheerful song and dance with “Bad Boys,” a change from their previous ballad single. “Bad Boys” is composed by Jo Young Soo, who also composed the group’s “Sadness,” “Run to You,” and “Let the Wind Blow.” It is said that Jo Young Soo worked hard on this song to bring out each member’s strong point, after watching and complimenting the group’s powerful live performance in Japan. “Bad Boys” blends a mix of latin and rock elements together.

The teaser is set in a club and features TV personality Kang Ye Bin in seductive scenes with member Han Byul.

Kim Tae Hee is still receiving mixed reviews for her inadequate acting skills but she has definitely been on the rise since her character turned the tide and became a full-blown villain, rather than the ambiguous, constrained character she initially was.

B2ST Named 'The Face Of K-Pop' By The Visit Korea Committee

Popular idol group B2ST are still gleaming from the recent success of their latest single "Will You Be Alright?" and now they have another thing to gloat about.

The boy band was chosen to be "the face of K-Pop" for the upcoming 2013 K-Pop Festival in Wonju, South Korea this September.

"We are glad to represent Korea, and we will do our best so that overseas 'hallyu' (Korean wave) fans can enjoy Korea," the group said in a statement released by their agency, Cube Entertainment.

The Visit Korea Committee along with the Gangwon Provincial and Wonju City governments are hosting the music festival as part of a series promotional events leading up to the 2018 Winter Olympics.

B2ST will be the headliners for the K-Pop festival and will participate in a variety of activities to promote the event. The idol group will be officially welcomed at the National Tourism Organization's edifice on June 18 to kick off promotions.

B2ST recently made their comeback after a year-long hiatus and are planning to release a new album sometime next month. They will also be holding a solo concert in Seoul on July 20 and 21.

Artist and actress Suzy sent over a heartfelt video message to fellow actor Jo Jae Yoon's ill father.

In June 12, Jo Jae Yoon appeared as a guest on the morning talk show 'Good Morning' where other cast members of the drama 'Gu Family Book' put together a heartwarming message for his father who has been struggling with an illness.

Suzy, Sung Dong Il, Yoo Dong Geun and Go Chang Suk joined their voices in encouraging the fellow actor to keep his head up and let his father know that they are rooting for his speedy recovery.

Sung Dong Il and Yoo Dong Geun said, "Your son will make it big soon. Please get well soon and see him succeed as an actor."

"Love you! Fight on. I will be rooting for you from here so please get well," said Suzy, prompting a huge smile on Jo Jae Yoon's father's face.

Lastly, Go Chang Suk concluded, "Jae Yoon says he will become a son you guys will always be proud of and an actress that the entire nation loves. Please fight on."

K-Pop Idol Cliques: Do You Know About The Kyu-Line?

Kyuhyun posted the picture along with the caHave you heard of K-pop idol cliques? K-pop idols often form groups of friends who like to hang out with each other often and even go drinking together. One of the most famous K-pop idol cliques is the "Kyu-line," which consists of Super Junior's Kyuhyun and Ryeowook, SHINee's Minho, TVXQ'sChangmin, and CNBlue's Jonghyun.

How was the K-pop idol clique formed? Well, back in 2011, Kyuhyun shared a hilarious photo on his twitter, showing results of a smart phone application that determines how much normal people's faces resemble celebrities' faces. From the smart phone app, both Changmin and Jonghyun got results that said they looked 100% like Kyuhyun.

On an episode of "Radio Star," which is hosted by Kyuhyun, CNBlue's Jonghyun revealed the truth behind the formation of the "Kyu-Line," saying that he was actually forced to join! Jonghyun said, "One day, I suddenly found myself in the 'Kyu-Line.' Kyuhyun hyung said to me, 'Now you are going to be with me,' and I was forcefully recruited."

Jonghyun further said, "When we were practicing for a different program, Kyuhyun hyung suddenly said to me, 'You resemble me a lot.'" Kyuhyun responded to his claims, saying, "I said that because my fans kept saying we look alike!"

Before CNBlue's Jonghyun had the "honor" of joining the Kyu-line, the clique's members have also tried to explain the qualifications of joining the Kyu-line:

Minho: I'm a member of Kyu-line.
Kyuhyun: The members are Ryeowook, DBSK Changmin, and SHINee Minho.
Donghae: I want to join the line as well.
(Kyuhyun and Minho laugh)
Yesung: You should make your own line and call it Donghae-line.
Donghae: No, no, I want to join Kyu-line.
Minho: There are some criteria to be part of the line.
Fans: HEIGHT!
Minho: No, no.
(Yesung points to Ryeowook. They all laugh.)
Minho: No, height isn't one. You must like what Kyuhyun enjoys. The requirements are game and wine. Wine is the most important.

Although the "Kyu-Line" is named after Kyuhyun, Kyuhyun has previously revealed that the actual leader of the clique is TVXQ's Changmin.

Minho once hijacked Kyuhyun's twitter and wrote: "This is Minho ha ha. I'm touched by Kyuhyun's cake. I'm so happy today. Heechul, Kangin, Donghae, Kyuhyun, Changmin, Jonghyun, I love you all~~" The fact that Minho was able to use Kyuhyun's twitter account shows off their close relationship.

SHINEe Jonghyun is also sometimes thought to be a Kyu-line member, but really who makes the cut in the list, only Kyuhyun (or in that case Changmin) can tell. 

The members of the Kyu-Line often meet up for birthday celebrations and also go drinking together, which translates to many drunk birthday moments. Their close friendship is often shown in the photos they take!

Members of Super Junior and SHINee Cheer On Girls’ Generation

It’s always great to see artists from the same label supporting each other!

On June 9, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun posted a photo on his Twitter along with the message, “Don’t really like how I’m tweeting so much these days, but SNSD did so well~ Sones, you too, fighting with Kang, Key, Min.”

The picture was taken on June 9 at Girls’ Generation’s dressing room during their solo concert. The group photo shows that Super Junior’s Kangin and Kyuhyun along with SHINee’s Key and Minho attended the concert to support their fellow labelmates.

Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation hosted the Seoul leg of “2013 Girls’ Generation World Tour – Girls & Peace” on June 8 and 9 at the Olympic Park Gymnasium in Seoul. They will hold concerts in Taiwan on July 20 and 21 and will visit other cities in Asia as well as North and South America.

Girls' Generation's Tiffany Interviews and Takes a Picture With Hollywood Actor Brad Pitt

Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany and Hollywood actor Brad Pitt recently spent some time together at Gyeongbok Palace.

Tiffany was chosen because of her fluent English and bright personality to interview Brad Pitt for “Midnight TV Entertainment” as he promoted his latest movie “World War Z” in Korea. Brad Pitt had visited Korea before for his previous movie “Moneyball” and had expressed interest in Korean culture. The two met for their interview at Gyeongbok palace and took a picture together. During their interview Brad Pitt talked about why he chose to do “World War Z,” and Tiffany taught him to say “daebak.” 

Brad Pitt met with his Korean fans at the red carpet premier for “World War Z” on June 11. The interview aired on June 12 on “Midnight TV Entertainment.” “World War Z” will open in theaters in South Korea on June 20.

Amy, Misha, Fara ready

NO doubt the main attraction theater Nyonya & The Gang to be staged at Istana Budaya from 14 to 20 June is of course well-known name emergence triple homeland of Misha Omar, Amy Winehouse and Fara Fauzana.

Starting tomorrow, the three Misha, Amy and Fara expected rocked the stage with an aura of the Palace of Culture and their acting skills.

For Misha, this is not the first time he appeared on the theater stage. Previously, he was active in musical theater as Tun Mahathir 1, Tun Mahathir Musical 2, monologue Girls Orphanage and Mak Dara Nyonya.

He also had roles in theater Uda Dara Dara works of National Laureate, the late Datuk Dr. Usman Awang.

Thus, the experience along diraihnya particular training before he appeared for Mrs. & The Gang theater?

Misha said, to memorize the script is very important before starting training with other partners. It is a major factor before appreciating a character.

"I started training over three weeks ago in stages. Training with other partners is very important. Besides being able to memorize the script, we are also to be integrated with a partner character.

"I was pounding too because sometimes those experienced during training differ from the actual situation during staging.

"I, Amy, and I'll be appearing in a three nieces Mrs meaning niece plays the character Mr. Taiyuddin Bake.

"Prepare me now is 60 percent, and God willing, I will do my best.

"Amy helped me deepen the character as partner (acting) I, Fara quite busy with his career schedule.

"I understand, but in fact he should have, so we got together compatibility," admits Misha on the sidelines of a training session Mistress & The Gang at the theater recently.


FROM right, Misha, Mardiana and Amy are trying their costumes will be worn during play Mistress & The Gang.

Fara was not present at the training session but Amy and Misha resume training with another actor of Mrs & The Gang Mardiana Alwi who will realize the character Mrs.

For Amy, who had long been in the theater, the same preparation as the other actors who will realize the various characters in the theater.

Amy has appeared in theater Drawn In Nature Fantasia in 2000, Sea Cucumber Musical 1 (2009) and Sea Cucumber Musical 2 (2010).

"I do a lot of training. Through the training I was able to memorize the script and most importantly, I'm always in accordance with the director. Although very busy with some other acting productions filming, I still come to practice this theater, "said Amy.

Meanwhile, according to theater director Mrs & The Gang, Rosminah Mohd. Lewis, on the theory and practice of acting, it is almost 90 percent complete.

Rosminah opinion that Amy, Misha and Fara no problem to work together to create harmony through each character.

"Space training is very different from the actual space during staging. So, what I do is always doing drills to improve their play.

"Now, I just use a mock-up set before the actual set.

"It has not been working properly again, but I will be sure to get the better actors in character when five days before the actual set of plays," he said enough is known through the various directions to the theater floor Theatre T. Pinkie.

SHINee to collaborate with Beat Burger for an electronic remix of their hit songs at 'UMF Korea 2013'

SHINee is crossing off another feat on their bucket list as they are scheduled to stand on stage at a major music festival, 'UMF Korea 2013'!

This will be the group's first time performing at a major music festival of this nature, and you can bet they'll loosen up fans' 'serious' nature at the event taking place on the 15th.

The group will be the guest of electronic team Beat Burger, led by Black Beat's Shim Jae Won who serves as the choreography director for SM artists. They'll be collaborating with Beat Burger to perform the remix of 3 of their hit songs including "Dream Girl".

UMF is an electronic music festival that is held across the world and this will be the second time that the festival is held in Korea.

Razali marry school dance teacher

ALL of them broke after marriage photos spread through Facebook pages belonging to celebrities Roslan Shah. Through social networking sites, Roslan has expressed his disappointment.

This is because as individuals who have been close with James, and even recognize his family, he not only invited, but did not know about the wedding Razali.

100% show off their chocolate abs on 'Weekly Idol'

100% had more than just variety skills to show off on the latest episode of 'Weekly Idol'.

The boys were featured on the June 12 installment of the show where they talked about working out. The boys said, "We work out recently, so we're confident of our bodies." Of course, this comment couldn't just be left alone! The MCs made Sanghoon show off his washboard abs, and then tried to getMinwoo to pull his shirt up, too!

Minwoo was hesitant at first, saying, "I ate a lot of peppers and drank a lot of water before... ". The MCs gave him a hand by 'massaging' his stomach by slapping his stomach, and Minwoo finally pulled his shirt up to reveal his flawless body! Jonghwan also did the same, as did Rokhyun.

T-ARA Qri-Boram-Soyeon to Debut in Japan as Unit Group, 'Much Interest in Japan'

Group T-ARA members Qri, Boram and Soyeon will be debuting in Japan as a unit group called QBSand is gaining much local attention in Japan.

QBS will be debuting in Japan on June 26. Previously on June 10, they held a debut celebratory event and gained the interest of local media and press.

One Japan media stated yesterday, "QBS introduced their new single at the event and showed off a cute stage performance. They also made the audience laugh with their limited Japanese skills."

Member Soyeon commented at the event, "Our debut song is feminine and announces the coming of summer. We are still currently studying Japanese and working hard to get better at it."

Their debut song, "Like the Wind" is an original Japanese song and features a a slow beat and a hopeful melody. 

The lyrics express how one can overcome anything with the love of their one and only.

QBS is currently preparing for their active promotions in Japan.

On the other hand, the other members of the group have also debuted as a unit group called T-ARA N4. They are currently busy with their debut song, "Countryside Diary."

Big Bang G-Dragon, 2PM Junho, BEAST Yoseob: Breaking into the Japanese Music Scene As Solo Artists

More and more boy group idols are breaking into the Japanese music scene as solo artists. 

These solo artists are attracting attention for boldly taking on a new challenge in Japan. Big Bang's G-Dragon, 2PM's Junho, and BEAST's Yoseob are the main stars of these solo acts.

G-Dragon, the leader of Big Bang, will release his solo debut album in Japan on August 14.

An official from YG Entertainment said, "Although we haven't yet revealed any concrete details about the album, those in Japan are on edge with anticipation for it."

Prior to G-Dragon's Japanese debut, his solo world tour, 'G-Dragon 2013 World Tour: One of a Kind' will take him to 8 countries and 13 cities, and he will meet an estimated total audience of 550,000.

Last month,  G-Dragon finished strong with his dome performances on May 6 at Fukuoka Yahoo! Dome, May 20-21 at Seibu Dome, and on May 27-29 at the Osaka Kyocera Dome, and on June 1 and 2, he finished with his Nagoya Dome concert. This was the first ever that a Korean solo artist toured at the four great dome venues.

He has already firmly established his position within Japan as a solo artist, and his highly-anticipated Japanese debut album continues to garner interest.

Joon Ho of 2pm will enter the Japanese music scene on July 24 with 'Kimino Koe (キミの声)' a solo album which he himself produced.

Having gained recognition as a singer/songwriter in Korea, Joon Ho will showcase his composition skills in Japan as well with his solo album, the tracks of which were all originally composed by him.

In addition to composing his own songs, Joon Ho participates in all kinds of operations of production from music video production, album jacket design, to choreography, demonstrating his capabilities as a producer as well as singer/songwriter.

According to Japanese recording chain Tower Record, a total of three versions of Joon Ho's album have each placed 1st, 3rd, and 7th on reservation charts, showing that fans in Japan are highly anticipating his solo debut.

Yang Yo Seob of Beast is one step ahead of G-Dragon and Joon Ho in breaking into the Japanese music scene.

After making a successful debut in Korea last year as a solo artist with "Caffeine," Yang Yo Seob released his first solo album, "The First Collage" in Japan on May 15.  The album has 7 tracks, including a Japanese version of the title track "Caffeine" as well as a cover version of a Japanese song, "Another Orion."

Towards the end of May, Yang Yo Seob met with Japanese fans earlier through strategic promotion such as broadcasting and performances, ensuring a successful Japanese debut.

In order to commemorate his Japanese solo debut, Yang Yo Seob had had a mini live concert and talk time with about 3000 fans at Tokyo Odaiba's Zepp music venue to serve as a fan meeting event.  

Another album that similarly demonstrates Yang Yo Seob's popularity is his first Japanese solo album, "The First Collage," which in the first week of its release sold 9,781 copies and topped the Oricon Album Music Chart at number 5.

One music official observed, "Since all three guys have enjoyed popularity and recognition before in Japan through their group tours, the work needed to break into Japan as solo artists will be relatively easier for them." He went on to say, "Just as in Korea, solo tours are becoming more popular, there will be more of these guys breaking into overseas music scenes as solo artists."

Gary Transforms into an MC for “Running Man”

On the most recent episode of “Running Man” (Which aired on June 9) Garypiggybacked Park So Hyun in a water bowl race and won first place. Afterwards, the production team of “Running Man” asked Gary to take over as MC.

Although Gary was caught by surprise he stated, “I will try to begin MCing. Everyone please put on your water bowls.”

Gary continued to MC the show with his unique style of speaking and asked strange questions to the other members. The “Running Man” members complemented him stating, “Gary is good at being an MC.”

Netizens that watched the show stated, “Gary the MC is very cute,” “Gary is even good at being an MC, there is nothing he can’t do,” and “The new type of MCing by MC Gary was so funny.”

Super Junior's Ryeowook has become... the mother of a giraffe?!

The idol star tweeted, "Giraffe mommy~^^ Kekeke. Hearing Ryeowook (fan club), thank you~~ Kya kya. It's filled up my room. Keke. What should I name it? ><."

Last year, Thai fans gifted Ryeowook an actual giraffe by donating it to the Dusit Zoo in Bangkok on his behalf, and it seems like his Korean fan club thought it would be appropriate to give him a life-sized giraffe doll as a present.

Fans responded, "Since the small one is Kiki, shouldn't this big one be named Koko," "OMG, so big," and "Adorable.'

Singer Jessica H.o. accused of assaulting a woman

Singer Jessica H.o., who kicked off a solo career in 2005 in addition to serving as the female member of the co-ed group Uptown, has been accusedof assaulting a Ms. Choi (32) alongside two of her friends, causing multiple injuries during a brawl that took place at a nightclub in Itaewon.

On May 18th, a fight occurred in the women's bathroom in a club where Korean American and English instructor Ms. Choi allegedly became a victim of assault. Ms. Choi accused Jessica H.o. and her friends, 'L' and 'G', of assaulting her and even trying to stick her head into the toilet.

However, Jessica H.o. is insisting that she only tried to stop the fight between Ms. Choi and her friends, who were visiting Korea from the States.

Jessica H.o. revealed her side of the story saying that she and her friends didn't have anything to drink that night and only ran into Ms. Choi in the bathroom, where they saw her arguing with a foreigner in English. According to Jessica, "Ms. Choi was drunk and she started to swear. She punched my friends' faces and that is when the fight started. I only tried to stop my friends from fighting. I didn't think much of it and let it pass so I am overwhelmed [about the accusations]."

The singer also added, "I am wrongly accused. I've never said foul words or hit [Ms. Choi]. I was only trying to stop the fight. That woman is lying because she knows that I am a singer. I don't know why this is happening and I am really hurt."

Jessica H.o. revealed that it was her friend, 'L' who was involved in the fight and since 'L' is from the States, she has already left Korea. The singer revealed that this altercation was over within seconds and there was absolutely no injury caused to Ms. Choi.

She and Ms. Choi got into contact later on, exchanging several messages with Ms. Choi demanding that Jessica H.o. cover the cost of her injuries. However, Jessica refused, and the two haven't exchanged messages ever since Ms. Choi filed with the police. 

Ms. Choi also expressed her side of the story, saying, "Jessica and her friends tried to put my head into the toilet. I don't even want to imagine what it would have been like if they had succeeded. However, I somehow managed to get away, it seemed like a miracle... When I was about to escape, they made me kneel down and told me, 'We told you not to mess with us. Say you're sorry,' and kept cursing at me. I didn't oblige and just kept asking them to return my handbag. 'G' finally threw my bag and they ran away. There's CCTV footage of them scurrying out, even the club manager said, 'It seemed weird how they were scurrying to get out.'"

Regarding the CCTV footage, Jessica H.o. commented, "There's nothing on the CCTV. You can check it. Even the club owner said that there is nothing there except us entering the club. I've asked the club owner to show the footage to the police."

With their stories being contradicted by one another, the police will be investigating into the matter and bring in Jessica and her friend 'G' in for questioning.
