June 28 marked an important day for two couples, actor Kim Jae Won and his long-time, non-celebrity girlfriend, and singer Jang Yoon Jung and KBS announcer Do Kyung Wan.

Kim Jae Won’s wedding was held in Seoul’s Gangnam district whereas Jang Yoon Jung and Do Kyung Wan’s wedding was held in Yeouido.

Kim Jae Won’s guests include Ji Sung, Lee Dong Wook (who MC-ed the ceremony), Jung Joon Ho, Kim Min Jong, Park Eun Hye and more.

In general, Korean men are slim figured. I am stating that fact based merely on my personal observation of Korean men, but I think it's safe to say most are on the thinner side of the spectrum. When you work that body out with tons of gym time and hours learning choreography, the results will be 6 to 8 packs, defined triceps and biceps, V-shaped cut obliques, and a whole lot of chocolate ab goodness. Who would've thought Super Junior's Choi Siwon was hiding those immaculate abs under his clothes? If I glanced at Shiwon with his shirt on, I would've just imagined him to be a flat board, but take his shirt off, and this man has abs of a washboard! Known for his cut figure, Choi Shiwon is hands down the fittest member his group.

2PM's Taecyeon is a total nerd in my opinion, but once he rips off his clothes, he goes from geek to Greek god. His body is astounding to say the least. Health trainers in Korea chose Taec for having the best abs in the music industry.

2AM's Changmin's body is completely and utterly out of control. It's hard to believe that before his days as an idol, Changmin was just a chubby Korean boy who enjoyed eating way too many foods of high caloric percentage. Changmin appeared on a show called "Dieteria" where he revealed his diet menu which included a homemade banana icecream recipe. Whatever it is this man is consuming, I say keep on doing it, because 2AM's resident ballad belter is my pick for best Korean male body in K-pop!

Mnet 'M! Countdown' in Indonesia Cancels 5 Days Before Event

Mnet "M! Countdown" in Indonesia has been canceled suddenly.

This concert was supposed to be held on July 3 in Jakarta at the Mata Elang International Stadium, however, the state of the local area was not in good condition and decided to abruptly cancel the concert.

This concert was a rare sight to see in Indonesia and had created great interest.

The producers had stated, "This 'M! Countdown' global tour in Indonesia will also be a great addition as this year will also be the 40th Year for '2013 Korea-Indonesia Friendship Year'."

"M! Countdown" global tour has visited Japan, Thailand and others starting last year and this was the first one to be held in Indonesia.

The line up for this concert was top notch as well from artists such as B.A.P, 2NE1, 2PM and more.

Unfortunately, the artists and the fans will have to wait until next time for this concert.

B.A.P's Daehyun gives a shout out to BABYs on his birthday

B.A.P's talented vocalist Daehyun celebrated his 20th birthday (21 in Korean age) on June 28, which also happened to be the day of the group's latest release, "Coffee Shop"!

U-KISS Receives Requests from South America to Officially Debut While on Tour

Group U-KISS, who is currently on their first South America tour, has received requests from 8 cities in South America to make an official debut.

NH Media stated, "Recently, Peru, Mexico and other countries have been requesting that U-KISS make an official debut in South America."

With this being their first South America tour, they have been receiving a positive response and expanding the Hallyu wave.

The members have improved and are becoming better at English and Spanish and have been able to communicate with fans during their tour.

An official commented, "It is a huge feat to see them receiving requests to debut from countries that hey have never visited before. We are currently in discussion to see whether or not there is a possibility for them to make a debut here."

On the other hand, U-KISS held their finale concert of their tour on June 29 in Mexico and will be returning to Korea on July 1.

After their return, some members will be doing musicals while others will do individual activities or appear on TV shows.

They will then hold a Japan tour at the end of July and make a comeback in Korea this September.

'K-Pop Star 2' contestant Bang Ye Dam signed to YG Entertainment

'K-Pop Star 2' contestant Bang Ye Dam has officially signed with YG Entertainment.

Bang Ye Dam will be the second from the show to join the agency following Akdong Musician. 

YG Entertainment revealed that Bang Ye Dam and his parents showed interest in signing a contract with them, and all negotiations have now been completed. The young singer, who is just 12 years old, will be getting professional training.

The official post on YG LIFE stated: 

"Many are worried that since BANG YE DAM is still young, his voice will change once he experiences puberty. But I have never heard of anyone whose musical talents were hindered because of the changes from puberty. So there is no need to worry! 

Unlike gold, diamond is a stone which value depends solely on how it is carved or cut. BANG YE DAM can be compared to diamond. The three judges on K-Pop Star, including myself, were left awe-struck when we discovered the diamonds in this singer. We knew that after much professional training, he would be of an immeasurable value. 

We cannot say for sure if that process would take one year or even ten years, but we can assure you all that we will spare no effort to help him shine like diamond."

Could Kim Soo Hyun Play “Dark” Wol Ryung in “Gu Family Book”?

Kim Soo Hyun has been picked as the number one actor that would have suited the “Dark” Wol Ryung role in the recently completed MBC drama, “Gu Family Book.”

According to Hankook Ilbo, in a questionaire performed through an unnamed mobile search app, the question of which actor would look better with Lee Yeon Heeor Yoon Se Ah as “Dark” Wol Ryung was asked, and out of 500 answers, Kim Soo Hyun was number one with 36.2%.

Wol Ryung was the animal spirit “gumiho” character in the MBC drama “Gu Family Book,” played by actor Choi Jin Hyuk. He won over many fans and saw rising popularity with his striking performance in the role.

While in the beginning of the drama, Wol Ryung was a sweet and harmless character, due to a betrayal by his loved one, he turned into a thousand-year demon, becoming the deadly and feared “Dark” Wol Ryung.

It seems Kim Soo Hyun was picked as suitable for the dark version of Wol Ryung due to his recent charismatic role in the hit movie “Secretly and Greatly” and the dark turn for his Sam Dong character in the KBS drama “Dream High.”

BoA New Japan Single Ranks in Top 10 on Oricon Charts

BoA's new Japan single has ranked in the top 10 on the Oricon charts, showing her success as 'Asia's star'.

On June 26, she released her new song, "Tail of Hope" which features a fun sound for summer.

She ranked number 11 on the first day of its release and ranked in the top 10 by the second day.

Usually, songs go down the chart after the day of its release, but BoA seems to be climbing up the charts.

BoA has debuted in Japan 12 years ago and continues to be on the top 10 on Oricon charts.

On the other hand, she will be releasing her first Hollywood film, "Make Your Move 3D" this coming July in Europe.

Girls' Generation's Yuri shared some photos from the set of her upcoming film 'No Breathing'.

'No Breathing' is Yuri's movie debut, and she's been cast as one of the leads, Jung Eun. The movie is scheduled for release later this year.

No Min Woo Displays Crazy Flexibility and Flawless Body

On June 27, various online community forums made a post with the title, “No Min Woo! Crazy Flexibility,” along with two photos.

'Shinhwa-HOT,' 1st Generation Idols Still Popular

On June 13, Shinhwa became the number one searched word online. There were no breaking news or issues surrounding them, so why did that happen?

It was the day that Shinhwa's concert tickets for August 3 and 4 went on sale. In just 30 minutes, all 27,000 seats were reserved. The 15-year veterans accomplished the unprecedented feat.

There has been a recent trend in the industry: the 1st generation idol artists such as H.O.T and godare in demand once again.

Shinhwa, the only idol group the 90s that is still active, filled about 100,000 seats in their Asia Tour in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan in recent months.

H.O.T's Moon Hee Jun is a star among concert circles. Back in March, he filled 4,000 seats at a solo concert, and his upcoming concert on July 26-28 is 80% booked.

So what is the driving force behind their popularity despite the lack of hit songs or hot issues in the past decade?

It is the deep, loyal fan base that has stayed with them since the beginning of 'idols.'

Shinhwa boasts over 10,000 paid members in their fan club, while Moon Hee Jun has about 2,000 regular members. Plus, their fans, who were teenagers when the idols first debuted, are now economically comfortable 20s and 30s.

The long-lived success of the old-timers is great news for K-pop as it suggests to current idol artists an ideal path to pursue with sustainable music. With more successful cases, the quality of K-pop as a whole will only be improved as musicians and management companies look farther down the road, rather than profit margins for the next month or two.

ZE:A's Im Siwan Is Dressed as a Prisoner in a Thank You Message to Fans

ZE:A‘s Im Siwan, who is currently busy in his first film project “Lawyers” appeared in his costume as a prisoner to thank fans for their support. In a post on the popular social networking site Twitter, the idol-actor is wearing blue overalls with shaggy hair as his character in the film. The photo was taken on the set in between filming.

“The hot weather cannot stop Im Siwan in shooting today,” the post read. “He will be revealed in this character for ‘Lawyers’ when it comes out in the year. Please look forward to it.” Im Siwan shows the gifts fans have sent to him and is carrying the banner bearing the logo for the film.

Im Siwan stars with veteran actor Song Kang Ho in “Lawyers,” a movie about a human rights lawyer in the 1980s.
