JYJ Jaejoong to Meet with 40,000 Fans in Japan for Asia Tour Finale

JYJ member Jaejoong will be holding his Asia tour finale concert on June 24-26 in Yokohama, Japan.

According to his agency, Jaejoong toured 6 cities around Asia including places such as Bangkok and Shanghai. His popularity was proved as he received an explosive response at the concerts. 

For his finale, he is expected to meet with 40,000 fans in Japan.

His agency stated, "Although his mini solo album was not officially released in Japan, he still received huge support through iTunes and Amazin. He chose to perform in Japan because he felt confident that his contents for the concert was new and exciting."

Jaejoong reflected his own style of music by showing off a bit of trendy rock and received praise from music critics.

An official stated, "Jaejoong planned and organized this tour and will be holding his finale in 2 parts, with part 1 being a fan meeting where he can meet and interact with his fans and part 2 being a mini concert where the fans and Jaejoong can communicate through music."

He has planned man songs from his album as well as other songs that he has chosen that he wants to sing to his fans in Japan.

Super Junior Heats up Hong Kong with 24,000 Fans for ‘SUPERSHOW5′ World Tour

Popular idol group Super Junior held a successful concert in Hong Kong as part of their ‘SUPERSHOW5′ world tour.

On June 15-16, they performed at the Hong Kong Asia World Expo Arena and met with 24,000 fans.

On June 16, being father’s day, there were many families that came together to the concert as well and showed off a variety of different age groups from adults to teens.

Super Junior heated up the stage with many of their hit songs from “Sorry Sorry”, “Mr. Simple”, “Sexy, Free & Single” and more as well as unit group performances and costume shows. They sang a whopping 25 songs for their fans at this concert.

Super Junior unit group, Super Junior-M ask performed their most recent song, “Break Down” and received a positive response from the fans.

During the performance of their song, “Rock Star,” the entire stadium transformed into a club scene as fans stood up and danced to the song.

On June 16, they held a press conference with over 100 media and reporters on site as they talked about the group and their future plans.

On the other hand, Super Junior will now be continuing on to Singapore on July 6 for their ‘SUPERSHOW5′ tour.

Lee Kwang Soo and Goo Eun Ae Share a “Cream Kiss”

Still cuts of the “Cream Kiss” scene between Lee Kwang Soo and Goo Eun Ae are drawing buzz online.

Lee Kwang Soo and Goo Eun Ae are making special appearances in the tvN drama “Dating Agency: Cyrano” as Choi Dal In and Dokko Mi Jin, respectively. Choi Dal In is a shy cook and Dokkin Mi Jin is the top chef at the restaurant Choi Dal In works in. She has the opposite personality as Choi Dal In, but he is in love with her and asks Cyrano to help him win her over. In the stills released, Lee Kwang Soo has cream on his lips amd Goo Eun Ae kisses him, making what seems to be a very “sweet” kiss. 

“Dating Agency: Cyrano” stars Girls’ Generation Sooyoung, Lee Jong Hyuk, andLee Chun Hee, airing Mon-Tues evenings on tvN. In the drama, Sooyoung  and Lee Jong Hyuk work at the dating agency called “Cyrano,” which helps clients get into relationships by setting up romantic scenarios. Lee Kwang Soo and Goo Eun Ae’s episode airs today, June 17.

Baek A Yeon Introduces B1A4's Baro as "A Good Boy"

On June 16, Baek A Yeon uploaded a sweet picture on her Twitter account that showed her and B1A4‘s Baro looking friendly. In the picture, Baro has his arm around Baek A Yeon’s shoulder and both hold up “peace” signs. Baro also gives a little pout. 

Baek A Yeon captioned this photo, “Introducing ‘A Good Boy.’ B1A4′s Barosunbae who personally did the awesome rap making and featured in this album.”

Netizens who saw this photo commented, “Baek A Yeon is getting prettier everyday,” and “They look good together.”

MBLAQ Lee Joon Has Realistic Ideas For After The Idol Limelight Fades Away

There is no denying that K-Pop idols are some of the most popular and sought after celebrities in Korea. As their popularity continues to spread in their home country and abroad, they are recognized for being multi-talented singers, dancers, and actors with immeasurable amounts of sex appeal.

It is a fast and exciting life for now, with a lot of money, fame, and attention directed at them, but realistically, it cannot last forever.

On last week's episode of Happy Together, MBLAQ's Lee Joon delivered an honest and direct message to his idol peers and his comments have been gaining a lot of positive attention from fans and internet users alike.

Talking about the salaries of idols, Lee Joon said, "We make more money that most people our age, and people tend to delude themselves into thinking that we'll be making this kind of money forever."

"Your career is over the minute you think that, though."

Lee Joon's realistic attitude toward money management and finances shows the 25-year-old singer's maturity is on a much higher level than most people his age.

"Until now, my only dream has been to make money," he said.

Lee Joon then went on to express his priorities when spending his income.

"I was able to help when my aunt fell sick. She recovered when I went to go see her. I'm proud of myself for spending my money in this way while others are buying foreign cars. My goal for now is for everyone around me to be happy."

Around the internet many users are offering words of praise for the level-headed MBLAQ idol.

"He may seem naïve sometimes, but I think he's actually a nice, innocent person," said one comment on TV Daily. "He's not just saving money, but he actually has goals and good intentions. I really hope that everything works out for him and that he continues to grow into a great person."

Lee Joon has also been compared to Big Bang's Seungri, who has on many occasions expressed similar financial plans.

The youngest member of Big Bang may only be 22, but has been planning for his future financial security for a long time.

He has expressed interest in the business side of the entertainment industry for some time now and two years ago he opened his own dance academy.

"I opened the academy to live without worrying about money after retirement," he said.

The business-minded youngster was also voted as the next likely successful idol CEO by Weekly Idollast year.

Countless other idols have been starting up side businesses to ensure their future financial comfort. And with idols like Lee Joon and Seungri setting good examples, the future after the idol fame fades away, does not look so bleak for K-Pop's brightest stars.

Girl group Girls’ Day released the album jacket of their 1st official album.

On June 17, Girls’ Day’s agency released the album jacket and revealed that their concept this album is ‘confidence and sexiness.’

In the album jacket photo, the 4 members are wearing crowns with flashy outfits and makeup, each of them with a mic facing them on a podium.

One representative said, “We will be showing sexiness through the song, the choreography, and the outfits. The members are also practicing and brainstorming to fit into the concept of the album.”

Girls’ Day will be releasing their album on June 24 and hold a comeback showcase.

SHINee Dances with Child Actors in “The Queen’s Classroom” OST Music Video

Group SHINee brightened the set of the drama “The Queen’s Classroom” with their participation in the music video filming for the drama’s OST.

While most drama OST music videos only show scenes from the drama, SHINee is making this one unique by singing the song and featuring in the music video. The members of SHINee and most of the actors from the drama filmed the music video at a junior high school on June 12. The child actors, Kim Hyang Gi, Chun Bo Geun,Kim Sae Ron, Lee Young Yoo, and adult actors Choi Yoon Young and Ricky Kim, danced along with SHINee at the set of the music video, creating a fun atmosphere for this unique music video. The child actors also followed around SHINee during break times, asking to take pictures with the members, making the set energetic. 

The music video will be released June 20 and will be shown at the end of episode 4 of “The Queen’s Classroom.” The drama airs Wed-Thurs 10PM KST on MBC.

YG Personal Trainer Hwangssabu Tweets Picture Of TOP Working Out

TOP works out in Indonesia

Hwangssabu is known as the personal trainer for the YG Family. He is in charge of making sure the stars are always in the best shape for their fans.

He also really likes updating his Twitter with insider pictures of our favorite celebrities working out.

The latest image comes from Indonesia and shows Big Bang rapper, TOP on a treadmill in a small gym.

The caption of the June 15 picture reads, "Remember!!! Do not disturb! And Learn etiquette! In the gym."

Surrounded by women on various exercise equipment, TOP is seen jogging along on the treadmill.

What maybe is most noticeable for fans is his workout attire - completely covered up in long sleeves and plaid pajama pants, very different from the other people training in the gym around him.

Fans, however, find TOP's appearance endearing, especially as his is known for keeping himself totally covered even in hot weather or when performing on stage.

"TOP's outfit made me think that he was sleeping in bed, and suddenly Ssabu-nim came to his room and forced him to go to the gym... So he went down without changing outfits," read one comment.

"He never gives up his love for long sleeves," said another.

TOP is currently in Jakarta, Indonesia where he was the special guest for G-Dragon's concert on Saturday night.

The hotel where he and G-Dragon had their accommodation for their stay offered a package deal - a ticket to the concert, a hotel room, and free access to the gym.

There were reportedly several fans who tried to catch glimpses of the Big Bang members throughout the hotel, hence the reasoning behind Hwandssabu's Twitter post to be courteous and allow TOP to exercise in peace.

Baro Injured, B1A4 Ends “What’s Happening?” Promotions

Sad news! Due to B1A4 Baro‘s ankle injury, the hot group will be ending their “What’s Happening?” promotions.

Baro strained his ankle ligament after falling while on stage on June 5.  At that time, B1A4, who was planning to promote their follow up single, “Starlight’s Song,”  decided to adjust their promotions depending on Baro’s recovery. But as it seems Baro’s recovery will take longer than expected, the group has decided to end their “What’s Happening” album promotions early.

Baro’s attending physician stated, “While there is no problem walking and moving normally, [Baro] needs to avoid dancing on stage or performing strenous exercises and the like.”

A source from B1A4′s agency, WM Entertainment, stated, “As the members prepared a long time to show a more spectacular and new image of B1a4 with the follow-up song, “Starlight’s Song,” the members are feeling very regretful. But there will soon be an opportunity to show fans this stage.  As much this album produced good results, we ask for anticipation and support until [B1a4] returns with more good news and advanced image.”

CN Blue to Act as Global Models for “K-Food”

CN Blue will be spreading the goodness of Korean food to the world.

On June 17, CN Blue′s agency FNC Entertainment revealed that “CN Blue has been chosen to be the new honorary ambassador for the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation′s global brand ′K-Food.′”

In the recent commercial shoot for K-Food, the four CN Blue members displayed a wide assortment of Korean agricultural foods such as paprikas, mushrooms, red ginseng and milk.

Jung Yong Hwa commented, “I heard that Korean foods are often exported overseas, so I think I′ll feel more proud when I see K-Food outside of Korea.”

The commercial will start airing in China, Hong Kong and Vietnam, as well as CNN, BBC and the National Geographic Channel, from mid-August.

The full clip will be made available through the official YouTube channel and Facebook page.

CN Blue will next perform for its world tour in Beijing, China on June 29.

24,000 Hong Kong fans join the frenzy at Super Show 5

 Super Junior’s Hong Kong concerts, held on June 15 and 16 at AsiaWorld-Expo Arena, were a big success, with a total audience of 24,000 in attendance. The audience went wild as the group showed off the variety and scope of their talent, performing 25 songs, including their hit songs “Sorry Sorry,” “Beauty,” “Mr. Simple,” “Sexy, Free, and Single,” and more.

Especially when the group’s subunit Super Junior-M performed “Breakdown” and “A O,” fans showed even hotter response. When they performed “Shake It Up” and “Rock Star,” the stars jumped around and danced along with the fans.

It has been four years since the 2009 Super Show 2. At the June 15th concert fans held placards that read, “Thank you for visiting here again,” and on the 16th, they read, “See you again.”

According to an announcement by their agency, SM Entertainment, on June 17, “Super Junior wrapped up the Hong Kong concert successfully by appreciating fans’ passion and support. They prepared greetings in Cantonese for the local fans to create a feeling of closeness with them.

The group will continue their world tour on July 6 at Indoor Stadium in Singapore.
