K-pop Idol Lookalikes: Which Idols Look Like Henry, Yoona, Daesung, and EXO Kai?

Almost all K-Pop fans have had that moment of doing a double-take on some of Korea's best idols when they first made their debut... "Wait, doesn't he look just like [fill in the blank]?"

We've compiled some of the most talked-about doppelgangers in this article, including Super Junior-M's Henry, Girls' Generation's Yoona, Big Bang's Daesung, and EXO's Kai.

Which other K-pop stars bear a striking resemblance to these idols?

Henry, who recently made his solo debut with "Trap," has been mentioned by many fans that say he bears a similar resemblance to JJ Project's JB and rookie singer Roh Ji-Hoon.

Since all three of them have relatively small yet fierce eyes, a high nose, and round lips, it's no wonder that fans would confuse the three! Not to mention that Henry, JB, and Roh Ji-Hoon have had the same hairstyle, and their face shapes are also similar.

JJ Project's JB made his debut as an actor in "Dream High 2," and joined Jr. to form a duo called JJ Project. Their first song "Bounce" garnered much interest among fans.

Roh Ji-Hoon first gained attention as a contestant from MBC "Birth of a Great Star," and he released his debut song "Punishment" at the end of last year.

As the three of them look so similar, can you tell who's who in the pictures?

Another trio that has often been confused due to their resemblance is none other than Yoona,Seohyun, and Yuri in Girls' Generation.

As the three have a similar image and are all beautiful members of the girl group, fans of Girls' Generation probably spent quite a while distinguishing between them when they first debuted!

Yoona, Seohyun, and Yuri, who heard that many Japanese fans often confuse the three of them, even recorded a video to address their similarity. The Girls' Generation triplets exclaimed, "We're different!"

Big Bang's Daesung and solo singer K.Will have also been said to look very much alike. On an episode of SBS "Night After Night," the two appeared on the show and even Daesung admitted, "We really do look a lot like each other."

Daesung joked as he spoke about K.Will, saying "We really do look a lot like each other. It feels like I am looking at my future self when I see him...Can you please remove the mirror? It's confusing me!"

EXO's Kai has also been known to look like SHINee's Taemin. Not only do their nose and lips look similar, Kai and Taemin both have amazing dance skills.

Kai is currently promoting with the rest of EXO with their title song, "Wolf," and Taemin has been appearing on "We Got Married" with virtual wife, Naeun.

Infinite”s First Studio Album in Japan Tops Oricon”s Weekly Chart

Infinite′s first studio album in Japan handed another success to the group in its streak, topping the country′s weekly and daily Oricon charts.

According to the Oricon, Infinite′s album Koi ni Ochiru Toki, released on June 5, topped the weekly chart.

The album contains the Japanese version of Man In Love, as well as the group′s previous hits Be Mine and BTD.

A rep from Woolim Entertainment said, “The Infinite members are all happy that their first studio album has been successful not only on the daily charts but also the weekly charts. They′re especially surprised because they haven′t promoted in the country yet. They′ll make sure to repay the great love with better performances.”

Infinite will start promoting in Japan this week.

In the meantime, the group held the press conference for its upcoming world tourOne Great Step on June 10.

Hafiz vibrates DFP

Golden Opportunities has didiberikan to himself. He actually made history as the first champion of the reality TV program in Malaysia that have been given the opportunity to perform a concert at the prestigious stage Petronas Philharmonic Hall (DFP) on 3 June.

Wasted no opportunity given to the winners of the seventh season of Akademi Fantasia, Hafiz Pitt The Kitt.

This is because the concert Hafiz has won favorable response when the capacity of 900 seats in the hall full of DFP presence among fans of all ages.

f(x)’s Amber Takes a Family Photo (?) with a Llama

Far away from home, f(x)’s Amber managed to unite with a family member.

Airing on June 11, MBC Music’s Amazing f(x) took the f(x) girls to New Zealand to fulfill Victoria’s bucket list to be a farmer for a day. The group headed to Rotorua, where they experienced taking care of the farm.

One of the highlights turned out to be the family reunion between Amber and a llama, who was living on the far. Amber is well-known for her nickname ‘Llama’ due to similar features.

Without a second’s hesitation, Amber fully embraced the llama, even whipping out her phone to take a family portrait. The staff joked, saying the llamas were obeying Amber especially well because they looked alike.

Meanwhile, the f(x) members did an assortment of activities, including shaving and herding sheep.

The episode will air on June 11.

Hyeon Bin filmed an advertisement with a white dog, recently.

The still cut reveals Hyeon Bin playing with the dog named, Baekgu. He is holding the dog’s front two paws up and looking at it with loving eyes.

Apparently the dog also turned tame in front of Hyeon Bin. The dog was a thing of envy by the female staff on that day.

INFINITE Announces Plans to Hold First World Tour, '10 Countries and Over 30 Performances'

Group INFINITE, who has reached their 3rd anniversary since debut, has revealed their plans to hold a large scale world tour.

Today at the MCUBE press conference, INFINITE revealed their plans for their 'One Great Step' world tour.

Their world tour will begin on August 9-10 in Seoul and continue on to Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore. In November, they will head over to L.A., New York , Peru, London, France and more for a total of 10 countries and 20 cities ad perform over 30 times. This tour will last until next January and they predict that they will meet with around 250,000 fans.

The members all agreed that they all felt that this was still a dream as it had been their goal to hold a world tour since their trainee days.

INFINITE debuted in 2010 and was part of a lesser known entertainment group. However, they were able to grow as a group steadily and is the group that they are now today. They are known for their fun beats and perfect choreography and has gained many fans.

They have received much love in Japan and has already held an arena tour in Japan.

The members commented that their main goal was to spread the world of K-Pop all around the world.

BEAST’s Lee Ki Kwang Is Embarrassed By His Acting, “I Should Never Act Again”

BEAST‘s Lee Ki Kwang shared his feelings about his first lead role in a drama.

On June 10, the press conference for the KBS 2TV “Drama Special” where actorsRyu Soo Young, Nam Bora and Lee Ki Kwang attended.

About his first lead role, Lee Ki Kwang commented, “It made me think that I should never act again.”

He explained, “The other people acted so well but I don’t know why I look so awkward. My hands and feet were curling and it was hard to watch myself.”

He continued, “Thankfully, the director did a really good job. I think all the scenes came out really well.”

Director Lee Eung Bok commented, “Since Lee Ki Kwang’s schedule was busy, he shot for four days straight. We had to shoot all of his scenes at once and he did very well in all of the emotional and comic scenes. He did an excellent job.”

Lee Ki Kwang’s role of Kyung Sook, is a handsome and good-natured but has a terminal illness. So Kyung Sook asks his friend Chi Hyun to find him someone who can give him his first kiss as his last dying wish.

The drama special is titled, “My Friend Is Still Alive,” and will be aired on Wednesday nights at 11:20 PM. The pilot episode will air on June 12.

Lee Joon admits he and Oh Yeon Seo haven't kept in touch

Lee Joon admitted that he hasn't really kept in touch with his former on-screen wife Oh Yeon Seo after their 'We Got Married' days.

Last year, Lee Joon had been an unintended victim when the Oh Yeon Seo-Lee Jang Woo scandal broke out, since he was the 'husband' of the actress on 'We Got Married' at the time. The on-screen couple ultimately stepped down from the show due to 'schedule issues', following a mysterious message Lee Joon wrote on his fancafe that left fans wondering if he was referring to his marriage on 'We Got Married.

On the 10th's episode of Mnet's 'Beatles Code 2', in reference to these past issues, Shindong asked him, "Did you get over the difficult situations? ". Lee Joon seemed a little confused at first, responding, "What? The difficult..situations?". Shindong continued, "You received a lot of pain". It wasMir who understood the reference first as he burst into laughter, and Lee Joon was only seconds behind, laughing himself.

Shindong asked, "Do you contact Oh Yeon Seo?", and Lee Joon stammered,"Uh..Well.. We don't really contact each other." 

Shindong explained why he brought up the topic, stating, "Weren't you affected negatively by it?". Lee Joon looked a bit confused about how he should respond, murmuring, "Well, I guess in a way, yes..."

"So after all that,you had to step down from the program," Shindong said. However, although the MCs might have thought the situation was 'difficult', Lee Joon revealed that the couple ending their run was actually good timing for him, as he stated, "But back then, I was filming my movie, so I think it ended at a good time as I was able to focus on my movie."

Best K-pop Group Costumes of All Time

There's something about a big group wearing matching outfits that really tickles my pickle. The outfits always look so ridiculously tacky and awesome at the same time that a part of me hopes that K-pop stylists never stop doing this trend. Here are some of my favorite stylishly tacky group outfits of all time!

When 2PM's "Again & Again," his airwaves, I specifically remember being entranced mostly by the group's getup. They were always matching, always two-toned, and were always influenced by JY Park's fashion sense. In other words, they were so incredibly tacky that they were simultaneously one of the best group costumes ever designed for a boyband. Let's take a look at some of the best:

KARA's "Mister" outfits were sexy, fun, and different to say the least. They always rocked the heck out of those suspender construction worker pants and their costume makers did an insanely excellent job in coming up with different colored pants to match their cropped tops. 4minute Transforms into Cute Baseball Players

4minute recently showed off their baseball fashion.

On June 7, through their entertainment agency Cube Entertainment’s official twitter, a representative stated, “What is the name of these people that have transformed into the world’s cutest baseball team? (A reference to their new single “What’s Your Name?”) Even when they do a full bow, there is something different about it! 4minute gives off both a modest but sensual charms.”

In the picture, each member of 4minute is wearing baseball team themed clothing, but they are still able to show their individual uniqueness.

A representative of Cube Entertainment stated that they would be showing clothes of different concepts for their performance of “What’s Your Name” in order to show their gratitude to fans that have continued to show them love.

EXO takes over Hanteo charts with first album 'XOXO', sales near 120,000 copies in the first week

It's been a very long time since EXO had a comeback, and now that they're back, they're on a roll!

The boys have been ranking high on the digital charts, but that's not all, because they're also taking over the physical charts. Both the 'Kiss' and the 'Hug' versions of 'XOXO' are at the top of the Hanteo Charts, with 'Kiss' at #1 and 'Hug' at #2.

EXO's Facebook let fans know how well the boys were doing by writing, "Congratulations!!! EXO's new album 'XOXO(Kiss&Hug)' ranked at 1st on various album charts in Korea, by selling about 120,000 copies on the first week of its release."

Jang Keun Suk and Park Shin Hye Show Continued Strong Friendship

Jang Keun Suk showed his tight friendship with Park Shin Hye via an update on his Naver LINE account.  In a post on June 7th, the actor turned idol shared a photo of him eating a bowl of daechang (bbq large intestines).  While actress Park Shin Hye was not featured in the photo, the caption read:

"Ate bbq large intestines with Shin Hye yesterday at Shin Hye's mother's restaurant.  The food is really delicious."

Jang Keun Suk and Park Shin Hye's close friendship is well-known to many, but the photo and LINE update further demonstrated this.  Even with his busy schedule, the actor always visits Shin Hye's mother's restaurant and also makes sure to promote it to his followers.

Online fans reacted saying, "Keun Suk and Shin Hye really are close friends", "Daechang seems really good", "Shin Hye is really lucky to have a friend like Suk." 

Jang Keun Suk and Park Shin Hye built a strong friendship starring together for idol drama, "You're Beautiful".

Jang Keun Suk is set to embark to the US for his American debut, with a series of concerts with Team H in Los Angeles and San Francisco later this month.

Kara”s Goo Hara Caught Kissing Kim Young Kwang

Kara′s Goo Hara was caught kissing model-turned-actor Kim Young Kwang in broad daylight for Kara′s upcoming drama.

The user of an online community website uploaded photos titled ′Goo Hara and Kim Young Kwang in a kiss scene at Ilsan.′

The photos show Goo Hara and Kim Young Kwang kissing at a shopping mall in Ilsan. As crowds surround them, the two, both dressed in denim shirts and white pants, kiss before the cameras.

The scene will appear in Secret Love, an omnibus drama.

Secret Love will be produced by producer Kim Gyu Tae and star one Kara member in each of its five episodes. The Goo Hara episode will be about a college student who tries to fulfill her bucket list after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

B.A.P are honored with the Golden Disk Award in Taiwan

Things are only looking up for B.A.P and their BABYs! The group recently celebrated their 500 day anniversary and they were also honored with the Golden Disk Award in Taiwan! 

B.A.P landed in Taiwan on the 8th and held a press conference, interview session, and performance at the Taiwan International Convention Center. B.A.P were also honored with the Golden Disk award which is given to artists who surpass 5,000 copies in album sales in Taiwan for their album, 'One Shot', by Sony Records Taiwan.

After picking up the grand award, B.A.P celebrated their 500 day anniversary with 3,000 fans during their 'B.A.P LIVE ON EARTH' concert at Taipei City on the 9th. The boys will also be going to Hong Kong and Singapore so be on the lookout BABYs!

Congratulations Kim Soo Hyun, Park Ki Woong and Lee Hyun Woo! The new film, "Secretly and Greatly," which stars these popular kdrama actors, has broken the record for domestic box office openings.

According to the Korean publication, The Women's News, the film sold 498,282 tickets on opening day, which breaks the record for the highest single-day opening in Korea. The film surpassed the record held by "The Host," which opened with 450,000 tickets and Kim Soo Hyun's previous movie, "The Thieves," which sold 436,596 tickets on its opening day. To compare it to sales of an international film, "Iron Man," only sold 422,000 tickets.

Within 36 hours, "Secretly and Greatly" had sold over a million tickets, being the fastest movie ever to reach a million tickets sold in Korea.

Part of the reason for its success has to be its three young stars.

In this film, Kim Soo Hyun plays Won Ryu Hwan, a highly skilled member of the elite North Korean Special Forces who can speak five languages. He is sent to South Korea spy and pretends to be a not-too-bright young man. Because he appears to be so helpless, older woman cares for him and treats him like her adopted son.

One of the other spies is Lee Hae Rang, played by Park Ki Woong. He pretends to be an idol hopeful, but he can't play the guitar. He is really the son of a high-ranking North Korean official. Ri Hae Jin, played by Lee Hyun Woo, is the youngest secret agent in North Korean history, so he pretends to be a student. The three young men enjoy their covert lives in South Korea, waiting for their final orders to arrive. What they don't know is that their mission has been cancelled and they have been declared expendable. To prevent these spies from falling into the wrong hands, someone is sent to find and eliminate them.

All three actors have excellent kdrama credentials.

Kim Soo Hyun is best known to kdrama fans for his role as King Lee Hwon in "The Moon Embracing the Sun." He also starred in the musical drama "Dream High," appeared in "Giant," and "Will it Snow for Christmas."

Park Ki Woong won a "Best Supporting Actor" award for his performance as Kimura Shunji in "Bridal Mask," played Won Jang Hwi in "Full House, Take 2," and Yoo Jin in "The Musical."

Lee Hyun Woo played the young Kim Yushin in "Queen Seonduk," the young Kim Sun Woo in "Man From The Equator" and Cha Eun Gyul in "To The Beautiful You."
