LA Weekly Chooses Psy for 'Sexiest Man in K-Pop', 'Rain-T.O.P-Se7en in Top 10'

Singer Psy has been chosen as the 'sexiest man in K-Pop' according the U.S. L.A Weekly. 
They recently released an article titled, 'The 10 Sexiest Men in K-Pop' where they revealed Psy to be the number 1 sexiest man.
They had the K-Pop team of L.A. Weekly vote and choose the top 10 sexiest men of K-Pop. The results showed that Psy was number 1.


L.A. Weekly stated that there were no rejections towards Psy being number 1 on the list. They chose Psy due to his confidence and success with "Gangnam Style."
At number 2 was Big Bang member T.O.P. Super Junior Siwon was seen at number 3 along with Jay Park number 4, Rain number 5, Tablo number 6, JYJ Jaejoong number 7, Big Bang Taeyang number 8, SHINee Minho number 9 and Se7en at number 10.
They also revealed another article showcasing the 'Top 10 Sexiest Women of K-Pop'. On this list, Lee Hyori placed number 1.

JYJ Summer Special Magazine to be Released in Both Korea and Japan

JYJ's magazine, 'The JYJ' will be released in both Korea and Japan. This magazine was created to celebrate their 1000 days since the formation of their group.
Their agency stated, "For the second issue of this magazine, we will be focusing on the theme of 'friends'. This magazine will be filled with photo shoots and stories that express and showcase the members close friendship. They will also talk about their personal experiences as well."

They continued, "It will also contain behind the scene and practice room pictures from their Tokyo Dome performance this past April. Many other never before seen pictures will also be revealed."
This summer special magazine will be a total of 120 pages with 30 pages of photo shoots. They wil also reveal their preparation process for their 2013 JYJ Membership Week.
JYJ stated, "We are thankful to have all our fans be our friends as well. We hope that this present will be a way for us to show our appreciation to our fans."

Lee Min Ho Meets With Philippine Presidential Family Member

Lee Min Ho received a warm welcome from Philippine royalty, according to Sports Korea.
On July 6, Lee Min Ho performed at the Mall of Asia Arena in the Philippines for the 2013 “My Everything Tour” in Manila. Kris Aquino, a TV host and the sister of President Aquino, was present. She has a major interest in Hallyu stars, so she attended the press conference that Lee Min Ho participated in on July 5. She was able to talk with him, and took a picture of them together. The following day, Kris Aquino was one of many fans as she cheered on Lee Min Ho for an encore performance.

Numerous other artists such as Lady Gaga and Aerosmith have performed at the Mall of Asia Arena. A total of 15,000 fans joined and chanted his name as Lee Min Ho performed.
The 2013 “My Everything Tour” began in May, and has already toured Japan, Malaysia, and the Philippines. On July 21, the show will travel to Taipei.
Lee Min Ho is set to lead in the upcoming SBS drama “Heirs.” The first broadcast is expected to air in October.

2PM Attempts to Live Without Electricity

n the upcoming episode of KBS’s variety show “The Human Condition,” group 2PM members will be showing their attempt at living without electricity.
For this episode, 2PM visited the dormitory of “The Human Condition” members. When the candles were lit to give a tour of their place, 2PM members revealed, “It looks like the room we used to live during our trainee days.”
When 2PM members were asked to try the electricity generating bicycles, they were able to successfully generate enough power to turn on the lights and a fan. When it was time for a meal, they were able to grill meat using the gas stove.
This episode of “The Human Condition” will be aired on July 13, 2013.

Ailee injures ankle at 'Music Bank' filming

It's been belatedly reported that Ailee injured her ankle while preparing for her comeback prior to her stage on 'Music Bank'.

Her agency YMC Entertainment stated, "After falling on the 10th, Ailee injured her left ankle. Though she's received treatment, she's still in pain. However, because she strongly desired to go through with her comeback and the fans who've waited for her new album, she forced her way for her comeback with 'U&I'." 



The label also added that Ailee will continue to receive treatment and that they plan to do everything they can to make sure her injury does not get worse.

Eunhyuk spills tears after making a mistake during the '1st Gimcheon International Masters Diving Competition'

While UEE got pretty good results at the '1st Gimcheon International Masters Diving Competition', fellow 'Barefoot Friends' cast member Eunhyuk couldn't hide his tears of disappointment.

From the start of the diving training, Eunhyuk had been pointed out multiple times as the ace of the cast, doing all the motions with ease in practice. He was also the first member to be able to take off the 10 meter (32.8 feet) diving ramp, so he had been shouldering big expectations.

However, at the actual competition which was held on July 11, he made a mistake jumping off the board, and he reportedly couldn't help but spill tears behind the scenes after the competition was over because he was disappointed at himself. 

41 athletes from 3 different countries participated in the '1st Ghimcheon International Masters Diving Competition', including the 'Barefoot Friends' members.

The episode featuring the diving competition will air on July 21.

For this album, I referred to many songs from other artists for inspiration and spent countless hours focusing on this album over several months. The album includes songs that are very different in style and genre and I hope to pass on my genuine feelings to my fans through these songs.
I personally have come to cherish each and every one of the songs included in this album. There are songs that make me dance and songs that arouse my senses… The album making process was nothing but a pleasure and a very rewarding experience. Thank you for the question.
