An Unexpected Twist for T-ARA N4 at Chris Brown Concert in Vegas, 'Culture Shock?'

Girl group T-ARA N4, who had stated that they would be opening for Chris Brown's concert in Las Vegas, ended up performing at a swimming pool in front of a small audience.

T-ARA N4's agency stated that this happened due to a culture difference.

T-ARA N4's agency stated, "We as an agency is in shock as well. I think it is because the concept of concerts is different in Korea and the states. First, we had been promised that Chris Brown would record 'Countryside Diary' with the group. After the producing team arrives tomorrow we will probably be able to understand more of what happened."

An official stated, "The group was originally supposed to perform the opening for the concert, but when the group got there, they realized that it was a festival style concert. It is true that the concert was produced by Chris Brown and Wiz Khalifah though. The group first performed at the swimming pool and Chris Brown came down later to introduce the group."

Today, a video from their performance in Las Vegas was uploaded on YouTube and has gained much attention online.

Also, photos of the group and Chris Brown and Wiz have also gained attention as well. Pictures from the 'MDW2013' concert was uploaded online.

On the other hand, T-ARA N4 will return to Korea on May 29.

F.T. Island Singer Lee Hong Ki Says He Has 'Had To Say 3 Passionate Goodbyes' To Girlfriends 'Because I Was A Celebrity'

Singer of the South Korean pop rock band F.T. Island Lee Hong Ki, opened up about the price of fame on the Seoul Broadcasting System Power FM radio show "Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time" on Tuesday.

The star said he has had to end several relationships because in his pursuit of musical fame.

"Up until now, I think I've had to say three passionate goodbyes [to girlfriends]," Lee said.

"What I mean by passionate goodbye is that I didn't want to break up, but there was nothing else I could do. Because I was a celebrity, I had no other choice."

The F.T. Island singer said he almost gave up being a singer because he was so heartbroken over a former girlfriend.

"I dated my first love during my [K-pop] trainee years," Lee said.

"Since I wasn't able to go back home as often, our hearts grew distant. That noona [Korean slang for little sister] asked that we stop seeing each other."

The star said he almost couldn't bear to continue with his music career after the breakup.

"I cried like crazy and told her I couldn't do it," Lee recalled of the painful time.

"I cried so much, I was in a state of exhaustion. I kept telling my manager that I wouldn't become a singer, so he tried to dissuade me from walking away from it altogether."

Host Choi Hwa Jung pointed out that the situation must have also been tense for the chief executive at Lee Hong Ki's record label.

"Your agency's CEO must have been really distressed at that time," Choi said.

Lee admitted she was right.

"Because of me, I'm sure he's had to go through a lot," the singer said.

Last week, Lee discussed another career low-point on the South Korean television program, "Radio Star," an incident back in 2008, when he was forced to perform at an awards ceremony on a day when his voice wasn't up to the task.

"Our manager said, Hong Ki is sick, and asked if we could perform with [a pre-recorded track], but the broadcast staff said 'no, it must be live," the F.T. Island singer recalled.

"I went to the hospital, but I wasn't getting better. So, in the end, I went up on stage, and [my voice] wouldn't work...because it wouldn't work, I was offbeat, flat, off-tune. I was going crazy. It was so hard."

Lee says the performance continues to haunt him, as talk show hosts love to replay the popular viral video of the singer's throat troubles.

But not all memories of that day are unpleasant for the F.T. Island frontman, who recalled some of the older K-pop performers at the awards show being extremely supportive.

"The Super Junior members were one of the first to do so," Lee said.

"Kang In Hyung said 'Hong Gi, are you feeling better? You were the best on that stage yesterday.' Those words were really comforting."

P Ramlee Tribute Awards Dinner held at the Palace of Culture June 7

After postponed to make way for the General Election (GE), 13th April, P Ramlee Tribute Awards will finally be held June 7 at the Theatre Sari, Istana Budaya.

The inaugural award will be transmitted live on two channels owned Radio Television Malaysia (RTM), TV1 and TVi, beginning at 9 pm.

A total of nine awards will be contested by 10 telemovie screened through a slot Tribute P Ramlee on TV1, since November last year to May 2013.

Ten telemovie nominated by P Ramlee tribute slot is Instant Wait Along direction independent, Soul Vibration (Michael Ang), Miang Bamboo Yam Birah (Bade Azmi), Where My Search Replace (Osman Ali) and Who's Cheating Who (Aziz M Osman) .

Also contested is the telemovie Jodoh We (Ismail Yaakob), Love Beads (Rashid Sibir), Pelamin In Cemetery (Murali Abdullah), Only Thee (Amie Maziah) and as long as Love Zikr (Erma Fatima).

All telemovie issue involved is of special projects Suhan Movies & Trading Sdn. Limited.

Nine categories

Meanwhile, a special panel of seven judges appointed to assess the quality of each set telemovie by category.

Contested category at these awards is Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Director, Best Telemovie, Best Script and Best Videography.

A special award was also created for the organization of this first round of Special Appearance Award.

Winners will take home a cash prize of RM5, 000 and a trophy, while the winning fan category, ie those who managed to correctly guess the name of the winner and sending of entries will take home a cash prize of RM3, 000.

Song Joong Ki in discussion to star in the movie remake of 'The Sea Fog'

Actor Song Joong Ki, who stole fans' hearts as the 'Nice Guy' and 'Wolf Boy', is in talks to return to the big screen in the movie remake of 'The Sea Fog'.

Song Joong Ki received the love call following his roles in the hugely successful film and drama. This is an offer he'll find it hard to pass up as it offers him a chance to work alongside the famed director Bong Joon Ho, who has been making waves in the film industry with his box-office hit films like 'The Host'.

According to his agency reps, the actor is reviewing the offer with a positive outlook, but a final decision hasn't been made quite yet.

Comedy special boon to the field of comedy was introduced

F.T. Island want "Freedom" with the release of their PV

F.T. Island is asking for their "Freedom" as they gear up for the release of their new Japanese album 'Rated-FT' with PV releases!

The album's not scheduled to be out until June 5th, but Warner Music Japan has gone ahead to reveal the PV for the title track "Freedom" as well as "Orange Sky", which was written by Hongki.

Hongki especially catches eyes with his unique choice of styling from his loose long hairstyle to his draped colorful jacket, really embodying the message of freedom.

Fan of 2PM's Junho lies to her mother-in-law to see him in Japan

A mother-in-law was so frustrated with her daughter-in-law that she dragged her on to the May 27th episode of KBS 2TV's 'Hello'!

The daughter-in-law was a 2PM fan (more specifically, a fan of Junho), and her mother-in-law had no problem with it. In fact, the mother-in-law herself said she liked Taecyeon and Nichkhun. However, the problem was that her daughter even went as far as lying to her family, so she could follow Junho around.

Even though the woman has three children, she lied to her mother-in-law and went all the way to Japan to see 2PM. Not only that, but her entire room is filled with photos of Junho. The mother-in-law said, "Once, she didn't come back until 3AM because she was watching a concert. She buys everything Junho advertises. She even went to their Japanese concert after she lied to me."

However, the daughter-in-law was all smiles as she commented, "I feel good just looking at Junho smile," and showed just how obsessed she was by listing everything in his schedule.

miss A's Min spilled tears upon reading BTOB's Minhyuk touching farewell letter on 'Reckless Family 2'.

Solbi has 'Yoon Hoo fever'?

Solbi has become the next celebrity to join the 'Dad, Where Are You Going?' craze. 

On the May 26th broadcast of JTBC's 'Hidden Singer', she revealed that she's caught 'Yoon Hoo fever'. MC Jun Hyun Moo didn't hesitate to ask Yoon Min Soo the question everyone had on their minds: "Did Hoo also come with you?" Yoon Min Soo replied, "Hoo is at school. He's studying." 

Actress Bang Eun Hee seemed disappointed to miss her chance of seeing Yoon Min Soo's adorable son, sharing, "Today is my birthday. I came here to see Hoo. But you're saying he didn't come?"

Solbi also shared, "I was supposed to feature on the program next week, but after hearing that Yoon Min Soo will be featuring at the recording, I moved up my appearance to the week ahead. I even re-arranged my whole schedule. Because of Hoo."

Jiyeon to return to Korea ahead of the other T-ara N4 members

T-ara N4 have been making waves in the States, and now they will make their triumphant return to Korea this week with Jiyeon being the first member to depart. 

Core Contents Media revealed, "Jiyeon will be the sole member to return to Korea on the 28th at 5:50 PM through the Incheon International Airport with staff."

All four members were originally supposed to leave Las Vegas for the LAX Airport and take the 12:45 PM plane to Korea. However, due to one staff member losing her luggage, only Jiyeon and seven staff members were able to ride the plane on schedule. Eunjung, Hyomin, and Ahreum, as well as two staff members missed their flight.

"Jiyeon and seven staff members will arrive in Korea first on the 28th at 5:50 PM KST at the Incheon International Airport. Eunjung, Hyomin, and Ahreum, as well as two staff members will return to Korea through the Incheon International Airport on the 29th at 5:10 AM KST."
