I think I can speak for most ladies when I say that while looks are obviously important, a guy with charm and humor far exceeds someone who looks like a god but has a personality of a rock. The fun thing about K-pop are all the variety shows we get to see our favorite stars on and through those shows we get a chance to see an idol's true personality and some of our favorites are just down right hilarious. Here is a list of the funniest and most charming idols:
You may know Haha as a comedian, but did you know he was a rapper too? He may not be an idol necessarily but he's in the business and he is the quintessential not-too-great-looking-but-so-incredibly-charming-and-funny personality. He's that guy who asks you out, you reject him, but he keeps coming around with a smile and you can't help but fall for his cheesy smile, corny one-liners, and aggressive conversations.
2AM's JoKwon is what every agency wants-a talented singer who can also charm the pants off of audience members on shows. While he may not get girls' in a too-hot-too-trot frenzy, he does have the ability to get women of all ages, sizes, and looks laughing their little booties off. Now that I think about it, all the members of 2AM are outright charming and hilarious! When you see all four of them together on any variety show, you know it's going to be a knee-slapping good old time!
Jay Park is funny and charming and it helps that he has an insanely ripped body too. Jay Park has been charming the heck out of fans since his 2PM days and showed his true down-to-earth personality through shows like Bunny. In any show he's on, he never plays it over the top or too safe, he's real and relatable and always manages to sprinkle just the right amount of charm and humor to everything he does and says.
Most of the members of Super Junior have got immense amounts of charm and hilarity. Members like Lee Teuk, Eunhyuk, and Shindong are often seen co-hosting shows and getting their funny on. If they poured all their wit and charm into one person, that person would be the Korean king of all that is laugh-out-loud awesome.
The king of K-pop, Psy is a charmer. He's always had a kick-ass personality and always manages to make my parents laugh hysterically whenever he gets his "Gangnam Style" ways on any variety show. His unique sense of humor and amazingly corny dance skills gets the crowd pumping.
