MBC’s new drama “Goddess of Fire, Jung-yi” (hereafter “Goddess of Fire”) held a press conference with its cast dressed in their period drama roles and ready to inaugurate the drama for its premiere next week.

“Goddess of Fire” stars Moon Geun Young,Lee Sang Yoon, Kim Bum, and Lee Kwang Soo among its cast. Moon Geun Young plays the titular role of Yoo Jung, Joseon dynasty’s greatest and first female ceramic artist. The drama follows her life and her love story with Crown Prince Gwang Hae, played by Lee Sang Yoon.

Lee Sang Yoon plays Crown Prince Gwang Hae. He was last in the popular KBS drama, “My Daughter, Seo Young.

Kim Bum in his mane of glory and first sageukrole. Kim Bum plays the role of Kim Tae Do who grew up with Yoo Jung and harbors a “pure love” for her.


Lee Kwang Soo looking serious. Quite a different image from his variety one. He plays a villainous role in this drama, Im Hae, the older brother of Gwang Hae.
