On July 1, SHINee’s agency announced that the first concerts of the group’s Japan Arena Tour SHINee World 2013～Boys Meet U were held from June 28 to 30 at Saitama Super Arena, which was configured in stadium mode to accommodate about 33,000 fans.
SHINee performed 29 songs, including “Breaking News” and sang their second Japanese single, Boys Meet U, for the first time publicly. They also did their hit songs “Juliette,” “Replay,” and “Lucifer” and revealed a Japanese version of “Dream Girl.”
The tour will continue until the 12th with 13 concerts in eight cities in Japan, attracting a total audience of over 200,000. The next concert will be held at Osaka Castle Hall on the 6th and 7th.
