K-pop Idols Dozing Off: Strangest Sleeping Stories

The other day my girlfriend fell asleep on my couch after a night of watching an unhealthy amount of Korean variety shows, music videos, and dramas. While she slumbered, I stayed awake mindlessly watching an endless amount of Inkigayo performances. Just as I shut my computer off, my girlfriend started speaking in Korean and singing K-pop songs and that's when it hit me-I need to write a post on K-pop idols and their sleeping habits. So a big thanks to my friend who didn't know her creepy Korean sleep performances inspired this post.
K-pop idols don't sleep. Their schedules allow maybe a few hours of sleep, but unlike you and me who get at least 6 hours of deep sleep, these idols need to be on their music game 24/7 which means sleep is a luxury. If I was working as hard as these idols, I would probably be sleep-walking, sleep-talking, sleep-singing, sleep-dancing, during the hours where I should be still and fast asleep. Let's take a look at the strangest K-pop idol sleeping habit stories!


MBLAQ's Lee Joon is a sleeping traveler. He's known to have the ability to sleep anywhere, anytime, anyplace. He's slept everywhere from closets, the bathtub, and even fell asleep on the stage once! Lee Joon, you can fall asleep in my bathroom any time you want!
SHINee's Minho works as hard as any other K-pop idol in the industry. He's young, he's overworked, and he needs his sleep. The most I've ever slept was 17 hours straight after a long trip but Minho beats me by a million miles. The cutie pie member revealed on a variety show that he once slept for 48 whopping hours straight. After a long day of soccer and hanging out with his cronies, he passed out at his friend's house and didn't wake up for 48 hours! The singer remembered waking up extremely famished and disoriented. When he went downstairs, his brother asked him where he was for the last 2 days. Watch the clip here:
B2ST's Junhyung is a hardworker who never fails to perfect his craft. The group's leader Doojoon, revealed in a fan meeting that one of his fears is falling asleep next to Junghyun. Doojoon claims that he often raps while he's asleep. Hilarious!
Miss A's Suzy is a consummate actress. Even if she's fast asleep, she still works on her craft as an actor. Suzy revealed on an episode of MBC's "Radio Star" that she re-enacts all her dreams while she's still asleep. Wouldn't all you boys love being there if she was rehearsing her kissing scene in her dream?
