Psy Gets Ready To Co-Host The MuchMusic Video Awards In Toronto This Weekend

The MuchMusic Video Awards have always been one of the wildest and most unpredictable awards shows in the world and this year viewers are anxiously waiting to see what is in store.
The MMVAs will be co-hosted by none other than international pop sensation Psy, and if he does anything even remotely close to what his concerts are like, it is sure to be a great show.

Just because he is used to performing elaborate shows and making appearances around the world, does not mean Psy is not nervous about Sunday's awards.
In an interview in London last weekend Psy talked about his preparations for the Canadian music awards show.
"MMVAs are gonna have (their) first co-host whose mother tongue is not English, so you know, I'm going to have a script and I'm going to memorize it because it's live," Psy explained.
"I don't want to ruin the show," he then admitted.
Psy understands what a big honor it is to play host at such a huge event. After landing the gig, he spent hours pouring over footage from previous years.
"I saw the productions and everything. Wow, that was a big deal."
In addition to his hosting duties, Psy will take to the stage to perform the song that made him an international star, "Gangnam Style," as well as his most recent single "Gentleman."
The MuchMusic Video Awards will take place on Sunday, June 16 outside the MuchMusic headquarters in Toronto and will feature a long list of celebrity presenters and performers.

Big Bang G-Dragon Has The Most Popular Instagram, 1 Million Followers!

It maybe doesn't come as a shock that Big Bang leader G-Dragon has a very popular Instagram account. But the K-Pop rapper has just hit a major milestone - one million followers!

On June 12, G-Dragon posted a screen shot of his achievement with the simple caption, "Wow 1m now."
His followers and fans congratulated him with more than 6 thousand comments and well over 100 thousand 'likes.'
What exactly makes G-Dragon's Instagram account so popular?
For starters, G-Dragon is very popular. He and his group Big Bang have an enormous amount of fans around the world for their unique brand of K-Pop that mixes dance, electronica, hip-hop, and R&B in an entertaining (and sometimes very theatrical) way in their music videos and dynamic live performances.
G-Dragon himself is credited with penning many of the group's songs as well as his own solo works and numerous singles for other members of the YG Entertainment family.
He is quirky, in-your-face, and an all-around nice guy, and his Instagram definitely reflects that.
Every day, G-Dragon updates his followers with scenes from his day, funny pictures, and behind the scenes photos from his tours and projects - another way that he has been able to rack up the long list of followers. GD fans know that each day they can escape into the singer's world and maybe even get a glimpse of some other famous idols along the way.
And as the K-Pop mega star continues to spread his music around the world, he can expect his number of followers to continue to increase.
