Popular group TEEN TOP has sold out of all their tickets for their Japan encore concert in just 5 minutes. This 10,000 seat concert sold out so quick, showing TEEN TOP’s popularity in Japan.

This concert is to be held on July 14-15 at Yokohama Hall. This concert was created due to numerous fans requesting for an encore concert after their show in Kobe and Tokyo in May.

For their previous Kobe and Tokyo shows, they sold out of both shows instantly and showed the immense popularity of TEEN TOP in Japan.

One official stated, “Although TEEN TOP has not made an official debut in Japan, they are still selling out for their concerts and showing their popularity. We are excited to see what will happen when they do make their official debut.”

Previously in May, TEEN TOP held their ‘TEEN TOP No.1 Asia Tour’ in Tokyo and Kobe and had a successful performance for their fans.

Big Bang G-Dragon Finishes Malaysia Concert for Solo World Tour

Big Bang leader G-Dragon successfully finished his Malaysia concert for his solo world tour.

On June 22, G-Dragon held his solo concert at the Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil for his ‘ONE OF A KIND’ world tour.

G-Dragon entered the stage riding a sports car as the fans screamed his name. He sang many of his hit songs from “HEART BREAKER” to “MichiGO” as well as “That XX” and more for a total of 20 songs.

He was able to show many different sides of him through the various stage performances and melted the hearts of fans.

For this concert, he invited fellow Big Bang member Taeyang to perform with him on stage. G-Dragon also wore unique and interesting outfits as he is known as a fashion icon in the K-pop industry.

This ‘ONE OF A KIND’ world tour will be visiting 8 countries and performing 25 times. G-Dragon is working with world famous creative director Travis Payne as well as Stacy Walker. He is also working with stage designer Michael Cotten as well.

This world tour began in March and will now be heading off to Singapore next. He will be performing at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on June 29-30.

F.T. Island’s Lee Hongki Transforms into a Writer!

F.T. Island fans rejoice! Lee Hongki transformed into a writer. In a press release on June 24, Lee Hongki gave his thoughts on releasing “Lee Hongki’s Nail Book.” He stated, “I am happy to have my first book published. I hope that many people will read the book.”

The 144 page book contains a special photoshoot, different articles, and realistic tips. Even before its publish, the book has been garnering attention from professionals and the fashion industry as well.

The book also contains episodes that Lee Hongki wanted to show fans that are titled “The story of how I am communicating with nail art fans” and “Nail art that I have decided for fans.”

The book will be released in South Korea and in Japan on July 12. There is a special and normal version. Pre-orders will begin today on June 24.

F4 Member Kim Joon Makes A Fresh Start

In the drama "Boys Over Flowers," a pack of four rich and powerful students, known as F4, ruled and terrorized the students in their elite high school. The show was such a big hit that the actors/singers who played F4 were suddenly much in demand.

The careers of the first three actors seemed to derive the most benefit from the attention. Lee Min Ho, Kim Hyun Joong and Kim Joon quickly achieved star status, landing prized roles and boosting their singing careers.

But the fourth F4 actor, Kim Joon, kept the lowest profile after the show's 2009 end, making career choices that did not quite earn him stardom. He served on the cast of variety shows, including "Invincible Baseball Team," and "Mnet Scandal," a show where a celebrity dates a non-celebrity. He had a role in the musical "Youthful March" and starred in the drama "Homicide Division." In that drama, he played Shin Dong Jin, a detective who is better at cyber-investigations than real-life cases as he is terrified of corpses. The reviews for that drama performance were not all positive, with some reviewers saying he was miscast and should focus on comedy.

Kim Joon then began a master's degree on Global Culture Content at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, wanting to study the spread of Hallyu culture. Then in 2011, Kim enlisted for compulsory military service. Fans were beginning to wonder if he had given up on acting.

But he hasn't. He finished his military service this week and is ready for a fresh start to his career. To re-focus his career, Kim, 29, has signed on with a new talent agency, Chang Company.

According to the agency, the actor has plenty to offer.  He's attractive, can play a variety of roles and he has a good voice.

"He has many strengths that help him be a good actor, and he plans to continue to concentrate on acting," said a representative of the company.

Before Kim was honorably discharged from the military, he was already considering offers, including some roles in other countries.

"Offers are already pouring in, not only from Korea, but also other countries such as Japan and China, so we don't plan on holding back in our support for his career," the representative said.

Kim debuted as a rapper with the band T-Max in 2007. Their song, "Paradise" was featured in the first Boys Over Flowers soundtrack and other T-Max songs were added to subsequent soundtracks. The band broke up in 2011 shortly before he enlisted.

B.A.P Dominates German Chart for 17 Months Straight

Hot boy group B.A.P is proving to be an international force to be reckoned with.

B.A.P’s “One Shot” has remained at the number one spot for four months straight on the German Asian Music Chart. The group’s previous songs have also ranked high on the chart, putting B.A.P within the first ten spots for 17 months straight.

According to OSEN, B.A.P’s second mini album title song, “One Shot,” was first place on the German Asian Music Chart monthly results released June 22. This makes it four months straight for the song. B.A.P topped over other K-Pop artists likeG-Dragon, SHINee, Infinite, and EXO on this chart.

The German Asian Music Chart was founded in 2010 and the results are compiled based on fans’ votes, proving the popularity of a group within the country of Germany. With the track “No Mercy,” B.A.P won “This Year’s Song” and “Best Newcomer” on this chart last year.

In total, B.A.P has placed within the top ten for 17 months straight, ranked number one for four months, and placed number one six times in all on this music chart since their debut.

Recently, B.A.P announced that they will be coming back with three titles songs, the first of which was revealed to be named “Coffee Shop.” You can view the teaser here.

Soshi Rocks The House At AsiaXStyle Show In Singapore

At the inaugural AsiaXStyle fashion cum concert event held recently in Singapore, the Girls showed the power of K-Pop in action.

Held at the Singapore Expo Exhibition cum Convention Centre on the 22nd of June 2013, the event showcases the best of Asian fashion from Japan, Korea and Singapore. In spite of the hazy weather conditions days prior to the show, the actual day itself turned out to be surprising good, almost haze-free.

As expected, the highlight of the night’s activities was the appearance of the K-pop world’s royalties, SNSD and 2NE1. The moment the aforementioned groups appeared, utter pandemonium broke, literally (I was there to witness it in person). Despite all that, however, the 2 groups gave off a very impressive performance, even though some technical difficulties threatened to spoil the experience for the fans. Surprisingly, it even impressed the usually jaded entertainment reporters from our local daily English main paper, The Straits Times.
